Snow Jacket
Back when I was young and stupid-cute, I went to film school and realized I wouldn’t ever have to do any production work if I were a Screenwriting major. I went about my life, actually got sleep in college, never had to ask my relatives for thesis money, pitched in gratis on a few friends’ projects, was an intern, graduated, found out my degree was stupid-cute, found blogging as a way to keep from going insane in unemployment, got a job, got busy, stoppedbloggingasmuchasIshouldhavesorry, and still managed to find my way into film production. My first producing gig was a short I wrote that allowed me to use my friends as slave-actors with some semblance of legitimacy. It is still “in post.” And saying so I think also gives me a semblance of legitimacy.
It turned out well. Well enough that we’re doing it again.
My newest project is “Snow Jacket,” a labor of love that is part of a larger feature project in the works. It’s challenging, unique, and has a pitch video with charming silliness (see below). Please watch it, spread the word, and check out the project’s support needs HERE.
You can check out details of our vision for the film here.
We’ll be tweeting @SnowJacketFilm.
And updating with new videos, goodies, and rally cries at Facebook.com/SnowJacket.
