Me: So we’ll head over to the movie around 6:30.
Aly (friend): Oh, yeah, what’s the movie?
Me: 127 Hours. Wait. Haven’t you heard anything about it?
Aly: Nope.
Me: Oh god. Aly. Now I feel like I’ve roped you into a potentially horrifying experience.
Aly: Why? What is it?
Me: It’s based on a true story of a hiker who got his hand stuck under rocks and had to cut his own arm off. Now I feel terrible that I’m making you see this.
Aly: Or we could just stay home and watch Saw 4…
